Justification of the Problem

             Electronics are makeing their way into developing countries, however, many small towns do not have convenient access to power and must travel for hours or sometimes days to chrage appliences. Bikes are a relatively inexpensive and a common mode of transportation in developing regions.  Our product would adapt these bikes to allow people to charge their devices without major changes to their daily routine.

• 1/5 of all humans live without electricity (1.6 billion)

• For every $1 in aid a developing country receives, more than $25  is spent on debt repayment

• Over 10 million bikes end up in landfilld every year
