Engineering Design and Development
We are members of the Ithaca High School Engineering Design and Development class, in which we choose a project at the start of the year and spend the rest of the year going through the design process to research, design, and create a prototype.
Project Lead the Way
Engineering Design and Development, or
EDD, is a part of Project Lead the Way, or
PLTW. Project Lead The Way is the nation's
leading provider of science, technology,
engineering, and math (STEM) programs. Through world-class K-12 curricula, high-quality teacher professional development, and outstanding partnerships, PLTW is helping students develop the skills needed to succeed in the global economy.
